What are the typical arrangements for a booking?

A booking will require a deposit of 300-500 Euros depending on the ensemble size. On the night the band will arrive in good time and set up after dinner. This will take in the region of 25 minutes to complete. We will then play a 2 hour set which can be continuous or include a short break to allow for tea and coffee. Extra time can be negotiated at the time of booking. Full payment by cash or cheque will be required after the performance has ended.

Do you travel nationwide for bookings?

The band can be booked for any venue in the country but please bear in mind that travel costs from Galway will be added to the price. In the past we have played weddings from Donegal to Wexford and have enjoyed every one.

Can we request a first dance or customise the play list?

We can accommodate any first dance song that you desire to make your day special. If your choice is known to us well in advance then we will source the music and rehearse the piece to a high standard. You can also customise your own program of approximately 30 tunes from our set list to ensure the inclusion of all your favourite numbers.

What's the difference between the selection of bands available?

The full 17 piece band play the music exactly as the composer intended with all musical parts present. It also creates a great spectacle on stage with so many musicians involved in the performance. The 12 piece band retains all important aspects of the music with the exclusion of some harmonic backing parts. With the 5 piece band a single saxophone or trumpet replaces the whole wind section and plays all melodies and solos.
